Dress Code

Per HCDE policy, ALL students and staff are required to wear a face mask. Masks are always required when in the building and outside the classroom for all students and staff. Each school will provide a safe space and time during the day for students to remove masks. 

Face coverings should:

  • Cover the nose and mouth and be secured to the head with ties or straps or wrapped around the lower face.
  • Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face.
  • Be made of washable materials such as cotton, silk, or linen, if not disposable.
  • Include multiple layers of fabric.
  • Allow for breathing without restriction.
  • Masks must be school appropriate. No bandanas or gaiter masks allowed.

Crewneck TMA t-shirts will be available for purchase at TMA. The colors are maroon, gold, and dark gray. 6th graders may wear maroon, gold, or dark gray shirts. (No black) Maroon and gold solid shirts may be worn. Dark gray shirts must be purchased from TMA. 


Dress Code:

School T-Shirts $10 (Available for purchase beginning Aug. 6th at Tyner Middle only.)

6th/7th- maroon, gold, dark gray TYNER MIDDLE SHIRT

8th- maroon, gold, black, dark gray  TYNER MIDDLE SHIRT

School Hoodies $25 (Must be purchased at TMA) 

Pants: Khaki, Black, or Navy (boys & girls) cotton twill, no denim

Shorts: Khaki, Black, or Navy (boys & girls) (must be knee length)

Shoes: Any type (for safety - must be closed toe and closed heel) (no crocs)

Consequences for violating the dress code:

• Student will be sent to ISS.

• Parent will be notified and clothes should be sent, if possible.

• If clothes cannot be sent, the student will remain in ISS.



Jean Day - Stipulations

Jeans-No bare skin exposed

Shoes: Any type (for safety - must be closed toe and closed heel) (no crocs)

No hoods, bandanas, scarves, head coverings (unless religious purpose) or hats inside the building.


The administration reserves the right to adjust the dress code as it sees fit.
